About Me

Hi, thanks for visiting.

I am an Entrepreneuer and Founder/CEO at @Aquevix. I am a hardcore coder at heart and never hesitated to get my hands dirty. I have been programming since 1991. I am expert at building large scale systems, server architectures and mobile strategy. I have designed and implemented several high performance systems and complex applications.

Technologies

Phew, this can take a while. I have really programmed on a lot of platforms and technologies. Thanks to Rogue Wave Software I had the opportunity to practically program on all sort of esoteric systems and environments in various configurations.

  • Programming: Java, C#, PHP (not really), Python, Lisp, Perl, Assembly, BASIC, C/C++ (Oh yeah).
  • Databases: Pretty much all of them. Used every database from MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Informix, DB2, MaxDB/SapDB, Sybase, TimesTen to Couchbase, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, RavenDB, Neo4J and OrientDB. And yes, I have programmed even on their C level APIs.
  • Systems: Programmed on DOS, Windows, Solaris, AIX, Tru64, IRIX, SGI, zOS, Redhat, SuSE, Android, iOS, RTOS and macOs. I have also written programs for DSP processors, FPGAs, various microcontrollers and microprocessors (non-professional).
  • Frameworks: Several. Django (favorite), Yii, Spring Boot, Play Framework, NodeJS, Microsoft Enterprise, Microsoft Building Blocks, JHipster, Angular, VueJS, Svelte, AlpineJS, React (Yeah I know they are not frameworks).

Accomplishments

  • All India National Award winner 1997 from Institution of Engineers.
  • Committer (emeritus) on now retired Apache C++ Standard Library stdcxx.apache.org
  • Director Software Development (Worldwide) for SourcePro C++ Enterprise Libraries.
  • Director Software Development (Worldwide) for Stingray .NET/MFC Components.
  • Technical lead for SourcePro DB, SourcePro Math C++ libraries.
  • Served on Advisory Board of Sun Microsystems (Solaris x86).
  • Served as Advisor for Intel Corporation Enterprise Group, TigerDirect and eWeek.
  • Paper presentation on Neural Networks and Artificial Brain (1997).

Education

  • Masters in Software Development and Management, Rochester Institute of Technology, 2000
  • Diploma in Advanced Computing, CDAC, 1998
  • Bachelors Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, 1998
